ボトル中央にある神秘的な模様…

どこか懐かしいと思ったら

以前調香師の先生にお借りした

18世紀に出版されたフランスの本(南仏で購入されたとか)

の裏表紙の模様に似ている。

セイヤンに漂うラヴェンダーの余韻？

セイヤンとは？

あのカンヌからバス一本で行けるらしい。

小さな美しい村だという人もいる。

丁寧になめされた皮のぬくもりや

パウダリックなイリスとどんなハーモニーを奏でるのか。

現実は仕事で東京から離れられない。

けれど想像の旅へ。

今パリにいたら

先ずは試したい香り。

私は10年前の春に仕事で訪れました。

先週その地で大きな地震が発生しました。

そして南米、エクアドルにおいても…

このたびの大きな地震で被害を受けられた方々に心よりお見舞いを申し上げます。

そして、一日も早い復旧をお祈りします。

Kumamoto est belle préfecture...

Je me suis rendu là au travail au printemps il y a 10 ans. 

La semaine dernière, un tremblement de terre se trouvait là.

Et même en Amérique du Sud, Equateur…

Je pense sincèrement aux gens qui ont été subis par le grand tremblement de terre,

et je prie pour la récupération rapide de la dévastation en ce moment.

Kumamoto is beautiful prefecture…

I visited there at work in the spring of 10 years ago. 

Last week, an earthquake occurred there.

And even in South America Ecuador…

l sincerely think about the people who were suffered 

by big earthquake and pray for quick recovering from the devastation at this time.

2015年デビューのフレグランスの中でFIFI賞に選ばれたのは、ニッチフレグランス部門では Parfum d’Empire の Tabac Tabou 。昨年のCorsica Furiosaに続きParfum d’Empireは2度目の受賞です。日本では残念ながら入手できないかもしれませんが

によると、非常にユニークで魅力的な香調を想像してしまいます。

グランドメゾンコレクション部門では、Misia de Chanel (シャネルのミシア)。こちらは日本で試すことができます。女性的な余韻を強く感じさせる香り……とある日本人男性パフューマーの方が評価されていたことを回想。

その他部門の受賞に、ジャン=クロード エレナによるエルメスの Le Jardin de Mousieur Li 、

フランシス・クルジャンによる Ultra Mâle de Jean Paul Gaultierなど。

ボトルで評価されていたのはディオール、そしてミウミウ。

FIFI Awards 自体はアメリカ、イギリス、イタリア、スペインなどでもそれぞれ開催され、日本でもフレグランス大賞が毎年秋に選ばれています。お国柄による美的感受性の違いもありますが、改めて今年のフランスのセレクトには、個性の際立ちと洗練度が要になっているように感じました。

アールグレイとカモミール ／ Thé Earl Grey et Infusion de camomille.

出張1日目。

仕事を終えて夕方16時、ホテルのラウンジにて。

オーダーしたのはアールグレイ。ベルガモットで香り付けされた紅茶です。

最初は柑橘の香りでリフレッシュ。徐々に花のような香りに変わっていきました。

Le premier jour de voyage d'affaires.

Le soir 16:00  après avoir de finir mon travail, dans le salon de l'hôtel.

J'ai pris le thé Earl Grey. C'est un thé aromatisé à la bergamote.

J'ai senti le parfum d'agrumes rafraîchissant dans un premier temps, 

et puis l'arôme tournait petit à petit, comme des fleurs.

On the first day of business trip.

The evening 16:00 after having finished my work, in the lounge of the hotel.

I got the Earl Grey tea. It's a tea flavoured with bergamot.

I felt the scent of citrus refreshing at first, and then the aroma turned little by little, 

like flowers.

次の日。

カモミールのハーブティー。

昼食後にカフェインは不要です。

柔らかな香りに励まされて

午後の仕事に向かいました。

Le jour suivant.

Infusion de camomille.

Je n'ai pas besoin de caféine après le déjeuner.

Encouragé par le parfum doux, 

je suis allé pour travailler dans l'après-midi.

The next day.

Chamomile herbal tea.

I don't need caffeine after lunch.

Encouraged by soft scent, I went to work in the afternoon.

ショコラとシトラスの香り、ふんわり想像／ 2016 collection pour automne-hiver de « Quatre quarts »

カカオの殻で染められた、アルパカのセーター。

春の柔らかな陽射しのもと、淡い桜色に見えます。

C'est le pull d'alpaga teint par l'écale de cacao .

Sous le doux soleil de printemps, ce nuance semble rose pâle.

This is the sweater of Alpaca dyed by the shell of cocoa.

Under the soft sunshine of spring, this color seems to be pale pink.
